THE BACTIFEED STORY

Hi, I'm Riley Stock,

I want to share with you the story of how Bactifeed got its start nearly 20 years ago. The story starts with my father, Raymond Stock, the developer of Bactifeed.

Raymond worked for a company who supplied a soil amendment product to farmers. The product worked great, but after a few years, one by one the farmers would come to Raymond and tell him the product stopped working. He decided to go to the owners of the company and try to help resolve the farmers issues. The owners told Raymond they knew the product only worked for a few years, and that he would just have to find new farmers to sell it too. 

He explained to the farmers what he had learned. They asked if he could develop a better product. He had spent a number of years working in a lab and on fields, so he said he could give it a shot. He asked what they would like in a product. They told him three things. It had to be affordable, easy to use, and consistently work. He knew that focusing on the microbes in the soil would be the best way to achieve this.

Over the next few years he developed Bactifeed. He had some ideas and went to collaborate with experts in soil microbes and explained what he wanted to do. They told him that it wasn't possible. He began to experiment with different mixtures and delivery methods. Learning and improving the product every step of the way.

If you asked him today if he had the perfect soil amendment, he would tell you that there is no such thing as a perfect product. Every year he works to to improve the blend of Bactifeed microbes as new discoveries are made about soils and the organisms that thrive there.

I have been involved with Bactifeed for more than half my life. Early on I was involved in the manufacturing of Bactifeed. I eventually started selling it and helping resolve the soil problems many farmers experience. I have loved every minute of it. The farmers my dad and I work with consistently come back for more. 

In early 2018, My friend Levi Strang, started working with me on ways we could bring Bactifeed to Home owners & help them have the same success farmers and golf courses have seen over the last 20 years. We are happy to share Bactifeed Lawn & Garden. We know you will love it just as much as the farmers who come back every year for more.
